This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which clients may request a refund or cancel services. General Overview

Our services are carefully planned and customized for each client. Since every website design, development, and digital marketing project involves significant time, resources, and effort, refunds and cancellations are subject to strict conditions. This policy ensures transparency and fairness for both SpikeyWeb and our clients.


Service-Based Refund Policy

Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:

  • Before Work Begins : If a project has been booked but no design, development, or SEO work has started, clients may request a cancellation. In such cases, SpikeyWeb may refund up to 80% of the initial payment (after deducting administrative charges).
  • During the Project : If work has already started (e.g., wireframes, coding, SEO research, content creation), partial refunds may be issued depending on the stage of completion. The refund amount will be calculated based on resources spent and hours invested.
  • Completed Projects : No refunds will be provided once a project is completed, delivered, or deployed on the client’s domain.


Digital Marketing & SEO Services

Since SEO services, paid ads, and digital marketing campaigns involve third-party platforms (Google, Facebook, etc.) and real-time investments, payments for such services are non-refundable. Clients are encouraged to review campaign strategies and budgets with us before approval.


Subscription & Maintenance Plans

For ongoing services like website maintenance, hosting, or monthly SEO retainers:

  • Clients may cancel subscriptions at any time by giving at least 30 days written notice.
  • Refunds will not be provided for the current billing cycle but will stop for the next cycle after cancellation is confirmed.


E-Commerce & Custom Development Projects

Refunds are generally not applicable for e-commerce websites, custom-coded applications, or software solutions, as these projects are highly personalized. However, cancellations before coding begins may qualify for partial refunds at SpikeyWeb’s discretion.


Cancellation by SpikeyWeb

SpikeyWeb reserves the right to cancel any project or service under exceptional circumstances (such as client misconduct, violation of our Terms & Conditions, or misuse of services). In such cases, clients will be notified, and refunds may be processed depending on the stage of the project.


How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To initiate a refund or cancellation, clients must:

  • Provide a valid reason for cancellation or refund.
  • Allow 7–14 business days for SpikeyWeb to review and respond to the request.
Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the client’s original payment method within 15–20 business days.


No Refund Policy for Certain Cases

Refunds will not be applicable if:

  • The project delay is caused by client-side issues (delayed content, missing inputs, lack of approvals).
  • The client is dissatisfied for reasons beyond SpikeyWeb’s control (search engine algorithm updates, hosting downtime, third-party errors).
  • The service was purchased under a promotional or discounted package.


Limitation of Liability

SpikeyWeb’s liability for refunds is strictly limited to the amount paid by the client for the service in question. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from project delays, third-party issues, or marketing results.
